This really is the last of it

I know a couple of posts back I said I wouldn't mention that pitch again.
Well, I lied.
But only because I found these amazing stills of the charater.
 Expertly crafted by Seed Animation.
And it seemed a shame not to share.
So there you go.
And here it is in motion:

Stamp

I made a stamp of a three eyed flying pug.
Now that gets my stamp of approval.

Trees Like Us

This a series of mini strips I did for The Dandy - remember that?
 I really like them.
 Simple but effective.
I'll say it before and I'll say it again:
The 3 panel mini strips were really hard to do.
I got so much grief from Dandy readers about the Korky mini strips.
The full pagers were far easier.
I don't think this series could have gone on much longer though...

Loads of tiny images

Here's a collection of tiny images that are pretty old. A lot of these, I did back in the 90s. Imagine that.

They're angry?!

A Year or so ago, I was asked by a a major publisher with the logo of an aquatic bird to submit some illustration ideas for a book they were doing on Angry Birds. It was all unpaid of course, most illustrators hate being paid - in that respect we're very much like dentists or mechanics. Anyway, they sent over loads of character bibles and I sent in the pictures... never heard from them again.

Plush bulldog

Here are some plush designs and samples we made up that sadly never made it to the real world.
As usual I teamed up with my regular cuddly (toy) cohort A Little Stranger to design the plush's pattern and as usual she did an amazing job.
These are the final character sketches. You can see a final adjustment with a slight change to the dog's jowls to make them rounder. And below is what Holly created from those.

Steven Universe Shirt

I've entered a design into the Steven Universe T-Shirt Contest seeing as I love that show and its theme tune is constantly echoing around my head.

Android advertising

Back on the MagNets today. I'm doing some level details for all the advertising that the robot denizens of the world we're creating get to see as they live their lives. It's all very rounded and immersive. Yes, we've got rich characterisation, back story and dramatic story arcs it's not just frantic multi-player action you know.
