Sea Bishop

I'm always super impressed with the ink pictured of Jonathan Edwards and he told me all about the wonders of brush pens. So I thought I'd tryt some. A lot of the outlines in my usual fare are done with a black pentel brush pen, but these ones with the squeezy re-fillable abdomens (I'm sure that's the technical term) are so much fun to use.

Here's a sea bishop, which probably has an ink sac so I'm starting off relevant...

Calamari Cavey

It's always a treat to hook up with one of my favourite cohorts, Holly from A Little Stranger. You must have heard about her amazing guinea pig plushies, Hey Cavey by now. Well it's been a year since Hey Cavey has been around and to celebrate she's putting on a show in Holborn at the Fleet River Bakery on Thursday. There are some super unique cavies at this show designed by me and other top notch artists such as Peskimo, Lunartik, Jam Factory and other movers & shakers which have all been realised by Holly and given the cuddly treatment at which she excels. Here's what I came up with for the show:

My offering is a Calamari Cavey terror of the deep. I love how she's done the tentacles - adorable. This abomination of nature could be yours so get over to Ebay and get bidding now. Cavey's birthday party

My old plushkateer pal Holly has posted up a sneaky peak of the cavey I've designed for Cavey's Birthday Party. I can hardly take any credit for this as everything that Holly makes is amazing and as always it's a pleasure to do anything with her... which reminds me, I wonder if we can post anything on that other top secret colab we did last year, I must find out as it'll be a shame if no one apart from our lucky eyes get to see it.
