Remember that book on kitten parasites I did a couple of years ago? Yes the one that is in both the libraries of the Natural History Museum in London and the Meguro Parasite Museum in Tokyo. Well it turns out I still have a few left - 28 in fact.

They really would make great presents for the kitten or parasite lover in your life. You can see a few examples what you'd find within the book here and I'm selling it for £10 inc P&P in the UK. £15 if you're wanting it sent abroad.

Hello Kitty

Seeing as everyone is doing their take on Hello Kitty for Sanrio's 50th anniversary I thought I'd have a go. I haven't done a kitten parasite for a while and they're always a treat to draw so I've seized the chance. Adorable.

Seeing as today is National Poetry Day, I thought I'd do something poem related. As you may know I released an anthology of kitten & parasite poems a couple of years back. This was one of the wallpapers you could download from that site. I have since forgotten to renew the Kitten Parasite site and the real life parasites sitting their want $2000 dollars if I want it back. I don't really as you can get all your feline suffering poetry here at the Kitten Parasite Blog.

Kitten Parasites

I haven't updated my Kitten Parasite blog for over three months. So today I did. For those of you unfamiliar with my obsession with kittens and parasites allow me to explain:

A couple of years ago I wrote and illustrated a collection of poems about kittens with parasites. Unbelievably no publisher would touch it so I decided to self publish with the help of a friend of mine Bill Griffin. It did pretty well and I sold most of the 1000 run we printed. I do have a couple left so drop me a line if you want one and I think you may still be able to find it lying around most Forbidden Planets.

Like a motorbike helmet

With an eye for a visor

This parasite holds tight

With a powerful incisor.

The kitten mews loudly

But on the outside there's silence

Inside this cocoon

Is a horrible place

As a million small pincers

Torment the cats face.
